Terms of Service
Shenzhen Precision-IP Intellectual Property Services Co., Ltd.
1. Scope of Services
Shenzhen Precision-IP Intellectual Property Services Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Precision-IP") provides professional services to patent agencies, including international patent translation, commissioned office action responses and full-lifecycle management of patent cases. Services are limited to patent agencies registered in accordance with the law and are not offered directly to end-customer enterprises.
2. Commission and Delivery
Agencies submit translation or office action response commissions through the platform, and Precision-IP completes the services in accordance with the agreed quality standards and delivery deadlines. Translations and response drafts are delivered through the platform, and agencies can download them from the order management page. If there are any objections to delivery quality, agencies may file a review request within 7 business days of delivery.
3. Billing and Settlement
Billing is settled transparently based on actual workload: patent translation is priced by word count, and office action responses are assessed by case complexity, subject to the platform's pricing rules. Agencies can obtain an exact quote based on actual workload before placing an order, with no hidden fees; cumulative cooperation qualifies for tiered discounts.
Bills are generated monthly, and agencies should complete payment within 5 business days of bill generation. If payment is overdue, the platform has the right to suspend services. Agencies may apply for VAT invoices, which are issued in accordance with platform and tax regulations.
If the platform needs to adjust its pricing standards, agencies will be notified in advance; orders confirmed before the adjustment will be executed under the original standards.
4. Intellectual Property
The intellectual property of patent documents and their translations commissioned or processed by agencies belongs to the commissioning agency or its clients. Precision-IP does not claim any intellectual property rights over the content of translations, but retains the necessary usage rights to provide follow-up services to agencies.
5. Confidentiality Obligations
Precision-IP bears confidentiality obligations for all patent documents, technical materials and business information processed on behalf of agencies. No disclosure to any third party is permitted without the agency's written consent. The confidentiality obligations remain in effect after the cooperation relationship ends.
6. Force Majeure
If services are interrupted or delayed due to force majeure such as natural disasters, war, government actions or cyberattacks, Precision-IP shall not be liable for breach of contract, but shall promptly notify the agency and take reasonable measures to mitigate losses.
7. Amendments to the Terms
Precision-IP reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service as business needs evolve. The amended terms will be published on the platform and take effect 30 days after publication. Material changes will be communicated via in-platform notifications or email.
8. AI-Assisted Services
Certain services on the Precision-IP platform, including translation, office action response drafting and Chinese quality checks, use AI-assisted generation technology (hereinafter "AI-Assisted Services"). With respect to AI-Assisted Services, both parties confirm:
- AI-assisted content constitutes an initial draft, which is only delivered as the official deliverable after professional review and confirmation by the reviewer designated by the agency.
- The agency acknowledges the inherent limitations of AI technology, including but not limited to outputs that may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for specific legal scenarios. The final quality of deliverables is the responsibility of the agency and its reviewers.
- Content generated with AI assistance that is downloaded or used by the agency through the platform should be independently and professionally reviewed by the agency before actual use. Precision-IP makes no express or implied warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness or suitability of AI-assisted content.
- Precision-IP continuously optimizes the algorithm models and output quality of its AI-Assisted Services, but does not guarantee consistency of outputs after model upgrades.
